Jennifer McAlister

My first book, Press On: Stories of endurance, faith, and trust to encourage you as you run the race of life, was published in 2017. Since then my articles and op-eds have been featured in: The Western Journal, Stories of Roaring Faith, Faith & Fitness Magazine, My Faith Votes, Bible.com/YouVersion  the Christian Post, and Voyage Dallas Magazine.

Currently, I serve as a communication consultant for My Faith Votes where I have the privilege to write their weekly devotionals. As a fitness enthusiast, I have completed twenty marathons as well as two full IRONMAN triathlons. I’ve learned a lot about endurance, pain, and perseverance from these races which prompted me to start Witness Thru Fitness as well as write my book Press On. 

I  graduated from the University of Texas Arlington with a degree in communication technology. As part of the John C. Maxwell Team, I am a certified Speaker, Trainer, and Coach. My passion includes empowering young women to make healthy, life-affirming decisions as a counselor at a pregnancy center. I am also on the board of directors of Phillip’s Wish, a non-profit to serve the homeless.
